Hello, my name is Larry K. McFadden, and I'm the owner of Master of Repair Services LLC. I want to sincerely thank you for considering me for your next home repair project! I grew up in Southeast Missouri on a small farm in a little town called Leeper, MO, on the Black River. We didn't have the luxury or the money to call a plumber, roofer, or mechanic, so we worked on everything from simple home repair to broken farm equipment. If the plumbing started leaking in the house or the barn had a hole in the roof, we fixed it. My father was a carpenter for many years. We built houses and outbuildings in and around the area. That is how I learned the trade.
Early Work History
I was in public service for most of my adult life. After high school and college, I went through the Police Academy. I was in law enforcement for many years. During that time, I was always doing side jobs like brick, block, stonework, or some other handyman work and repair services. I worked for The Missouri Department of Transportation in the Emergency Response Unit. We responded to all major and minor traffic incidents on the interstate. While working for MoDOT, I received the 2013 MSHP (Missouri State Highway Patrol) Life Saver Award.
Mechanically Minded From a Young Age
Since I was a child, I have been mechanically inclined and have an innate ability to see how things work and fix them! When others would give up and say it couldn't be done, I could figure it out and get the job done. Call it talent, mechanical genius, or just plain thinking outside the box.
